Are you aware of the time you've spent playing Angry Birds HD.  all about minecraft servers and minecraft in general Gamasutra has been informed by Markus Persson that an iOS version of the game is in development. That means that an official Minecraft build is expected to pop up in Apple's App Store and will include iPhone and iPad versions being discussed. Aron Neiminen, a recent member of the Mojang team is the person in charge of the port, and if everything goes according to plan, the port will be available later in the year. Persson confirmed that the iOS version won't receive all the updates that the original browser or downloaded versions do, but it will be granted "granted features that are appropriate for the touchscreen platform." If you're overly excited, control, raise your hand.

Update: Video is available after the break! Thanks, Cooper.

Update 2: Even though the video after the break does not contain the official game, it is an impressive third-party client. Unfortunately, it's been pulled from the App Store.
